What is this blog about? How kids can make money! More specifically, it is about how kids can make money online. That's right, making money online is not just for adults! You can do it too, but I will warn you right now to be careful who you listen to. There are a lot of dishonest people online and I will help to guide you to the real way to make money online while showing you how to spot a scam and stay away from it.

My name is Janet Smith and I am 24 years old (you can read more about me by clicking on the link I just gave you). I'm an internet marketer who makes 100% of my money online using free methods. I recently wrote an e-book that explains everything I do in an easy to understand, step-by-step manner, but I will not be selling the book on this blog.

I'll be giving you some free tips about SEO (search engine optimization), niche blogs, and how to monetize your blogs to help you along the way in your quest to make money online. I hope to become a trusted mentor to you - someone you can go to for honest advice and who doesn't make you feel stupid when you ask questions. It wasn't too long ago that I was a kid myself, and I know how frustrating it is to make the bridge between being a kid and taking on more responsibilities. I might even be giving you some basic financial advice on here because how you manage the money you make is even more important than actually making the money!

If after reading some of my blog posts here and you feel like my e-book would help you, then you will need to ask your parents to purchase it for you at the Nomad's Guide to Make Money Online website. Buying the e-book is not required as I will be putting up enough free tips here for you to get started making money online. Maybe you're just looking for some extra money to buy some of the stuff your parents can't afford. If that's the case, just read this blog and don't worry about the e-book. The e-book goes into detail for people who are serious about making a living online - you know, equal to the income your parents likely make offline right now.

Speaking of your parents: This blog might even be something your parents would be interested in reading, so please share it with them if perhaps they have lost their job recently or want to make money online. You can also direct them to my make money at home blog that I write for adults.

A Final Note about How Kids Can Make Money:

This blog will not look very pretty, but it will be packed with useful, free information about how kids can earn money. Sorry, but there is no awesome Wordpress theme here, no cool Twitter widgets, and no pretty pictures. At some point, I will explain to you why I make my blogs look boring like this one. Yep, there's a reason why I do it this way!

You will need to read through all the information I give you in order to make any money. This is not a short-cut or "get rich quick" method; there is no short-cut to making money. It takes hard work, a good attitude, patience, and creativity for kids to make money. Don't fall for the lies of other people telling you that you can make money online with little or no effort. It takes lots of effort and if you're not willing to put any work into it, stop reading this now because it won't help you.
